Pancosma is a long-established brand that has been offering research-based, innovative solutions to the animal nutrition sector for many years. In the 1980s, the company pioneered the field of high-intensity sweeteners and has since continued to bring scientifically developed and rigorously tested products to market, including palatants. All products undergo strict evaluations for safety and quality.

ADM FLAVOR AND SWEETENER PORTFOLIO

• Under the PAN-TEK brand, products are designed to stimulate the sense of smell. These are used to mask off-odors in feed, to reduce animal sensitivity to changes in raw materials, and to support faster adaptation to feed. Optimizing feed aroma is critical to ensuring sufficient nutrient intake in animals. This is especially important in ruminants undergoing stressful periods such as weaning, transport, or heat stress, during which feed intake continuity is vital.

• Sweeteners under the SUCRAM brand are regularly used in feed to enhance palatability, particularly for young animals. In 1992, Pancosma became the first company to develop and market a long-lasting, high-intensity sweetener as a taste modulator for animal feed. Sweetener solutions under the Sucram brand not only provide sweetness but have also been scientifically proven to enhance palatability. Sucram offers an average sweetening power 550 times greater than sugar. Unlike conventional sweeteners, Sucram products include aromatic notes and offer a rounded flavor profile. They effectively mask undesirable tastes such as bitterness and metallic notes, resulting in a more appealing feed flavor.
